The conference

AWS Student Community Day is a free, student-run conference where Nepal's next cloud builders learn from people already shipping on AWS.

The place

Where the Himalaya meets the cloud.

By late December the haze has cleared. Mornings are crisp, the Annapurna range fills the skyline, and paragliders are over Phewa Lake by ten.

The first edition filled Ranjit Event Center, Pokhara, on 20 December 2025. The 2026 lineup is still to come.

How do I register?

RSVP on any one of the four AWS Student Builder Group Meetup events: IOE Pashchimanchal, Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara Engineering College or GCES. Your RSVP is your registration. Please RSVP to one group only.

Who can attend?

Students, developers and cloud enthusiasts from any background. Beginners are welcome; no AWS experience needed.

How much does it cost?

Nothing, it's free. Seats are limited, so RSVP early.

When and where is it?

Saturday, 26 December 2026, in Pokhara. The venue will be announced soon (2025 was at Ranjit Event Center).

What should I bring?

A valid student or government-issued ID, your laptop if you want to join hands-on sessions, and lots of curiosity.

Will there be networking?

Yes. You’ll meet AWS experts, community leaders and fellow students throughout the day.

I’m coming from outside Pokhara. Any tips?

Pokhara is about 25 minutes by air or 6–8 hours by road from Kathmandu. Arrive a day early; sunrise from Sarangkot is worth it.
